No Bible Study Tonight

There will be no bible study tonight due to a wake being held for Sarah Lynn's Grandmother. Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Belvedere Funeral Home.

High School Camp was AWESOME

Well the title says it all but I have to say again that Camp really was great this year. All the camps but this is more about High School Camp. It is just such an wonderful and amazing thing to hear you guys worship and see you praise God. I love listening to you read the Word. This past week was life changing for many and HIGH impact for everyone I am sure. Congratulations to our very own Nick MacDonald on getting baptized. And to Maemy as well. (I'm sure I have misspelled that name) It really was a fun week. Beach volley ball was great as well as 9 square and Bucket Ball. You guys really are amazing and I hope that you got as much from the counselors as we got from you. Either way, as promised, here is the vid from the dinner. A better one of the whole camp season should be up sometime soon.

Pool Party

Hey all you big geeks! Thanks for coming out to the pool party last night and a BIG thank you to the Boyle's for having us at their place. It was lots of fun playing volleyball, watching Mitch be lame by falling off the flotation deals, eating hot dogs, woot for hot dogs! And shooting baskets on a child's toy. Does life get any better then this, I submit that it cannot! Good times for sure. If you have any pics send them to me and I'll put a few on.

CANNON BALL! (Youth Group Pool Party) NOTE THE CORRECTIONS

Well it is the event of the summer!... or of this week at least. It's the Youth Group pool party at the Boyles. So Ben asked me to give you some directions on how to get there because he's hoping my horrible directions will result in none of you showing up, I've never even been there myself. So listen up, or read up. The Boyle's live on the Settlement Rd., so take your first left past M & M furniture on to MacCallum Rd which is across the road from jewels Country Market, which is just down the road from the KFC on St. Peter's Road.
The party is from 7 til 9ish... pm.
So when you come to the end of the Settlement Rd., you will take a left at the stop sign and you will come to a group of houses. When you see that group of houses we will have the Boyle's house marked, we're not sure how yet, but we will, somehow... the number is 222.
Anyways, you guys know the rules on swimwear and if you don't you can refer to two posts ago where Ben outlined it in "Looking Ahead."
Don't forget your towels and special gifts for James as well. See you at the pool!

No Bible Study

Ok, so now that I've finally figured out how to get on this thing...There's no bible study tonight. Sorry. Ben's not here, he went home for a couple of days but he will be back and everyone should book off Next wed. I can't remember if it's already on the blog but we're going swimming at Sarah Lynn Boyle's house in Marshfield. If you want directions, just ask. Anyhoo, later!

Looking Ahead

On Wednesday August 16th we will be having a "Pool Party" at Sarah-Lynn Boyle's place. It will be in the evening, not sure what time yet so keep coming back to check. It should be a good time so make sure you spread the word to those of you who do not check the blog. It is a SHERWOOD YOUTH GROUP EVENT therefore our Sherwood swim rules apply. That means you girlys need to wear a one piece or cover up. I will be bringing tee-shirts for those of you who have this slip your memory. And do not post any comments complaining about what you have to use for swim-wear. If you have any problems or questions regarding that aspect you can email me (benforeman@pei.aibn.com) and will be happy to explain it to you. So keep coming back to check out more details, they will be posted soon!

8 & 9 Camp

Here is a little something from camp last week.

Ok so its been 2 weeks since anything has been on here and that is because I have been at camp but there is lots going on so let me fill you in!!!

First off I was at Canoe Cove Christian Camp for the 6 & 7 camp which was lots of fun. I ruled the 4 square court as usual and we had lots of help from people like Sandy and Kitchen help Shawn as well as kitchen hindrance, Josh.
As you can see Shawn knows his way around the pizza dough and Josh just looks scared. We had a great week with great weather and everything was just... great!

At the end of the week I booted er over to Garnett Settlement, NB for a wonderful event featuring two former leaders of the Sherwood Youth Group. That being Randy and Sara.
They got married! If you asked me, I'd say they deserve each other, you can take that any way you like! Two wonderful Godly people and I couldn't be happier for them.What a great day

Then on to 8 & 9 camp. This was an amazing camp with lots of fun and learning and jellyfish, and 4 square AND 3 baptisms. Our very own Sarah-Lynn Boyle and Mandy Inman were baptized out at the camp and on sunday Jaimlyn Wheatley commited her life to the Lord as well. I couldn't be prouder of any of you!

Also there will be bible study on Wednesday @ 8 here at the church. See you there.
